The starting point of this walk is at Fortica and continues through the forest beauty of Loza. It leads from the old center of Kastav via Crekvina – one step from the city and you will find yourself in a green oasis!
With a leisurely walk, we follow the wide path to the ecostasis sign, which was arranged by the youngest Kastavci, and we turn left along the path to the first forest road. Then left uphill, then right on a narrow path following the yellow-blue markings. At two larger pits, the so-called japnenice, where lime was once prepared from stone, we turn left onto a narrower path, across the former Rapala border, along karst rocks and sinkholes, to the next yellow-blue marker.
It is possible to climb Majevi vrh (411 m). We continue to the left to the fenced dolc and the area under the boar, and between the landscaped overpasses to the forest road and the transmission line, along the neglected cistern to the cross at the intersection of Spinčićev breg. Follow the forest road to the left towards Kastav until you reach the paved road to Belićeven brege, then left again through the village of Brnini back to Fortica.
