The protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data is a fundamental right. Article 8, paragraph 1 of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union and Article 16, paragraph 1 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) establish that everyone has the right to the protection of their personal data.
Article 37 of the Constitution of the Republic of Croatia stipulates that everyone is guaranteed the security and confidentiality of personal data.
Personal data is all data relating to an individual whose identity has been determined or can be determined. An identifiable individual is a person who can be identified directly or indirectly, in particular with the help of identifiers such as name, identification number, location data, online identifier or with the help of one or more factors inherent to physical, physiological, genetic, mental , economic, cultural or social identity of that individual.
The Kastav Tourist Board, as the processing manager, will collect, process, store and destroy all personal data in a legal, fair, accurate and transparent manner and by applying the rules of “reduced amount of data”. Also, in the processing of personal data, TZ Grad Kastav will apply strict personal data protection rules. In the processing of personal data, TZ Grad Kastav will apply the provisions of the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data and the Law on the Implementation of the General Regulation on the Protection of Personal Data.
Citizens whose personal data are processed can at any time request access to submitted personal data and request their correction, restriction of processing or deletion. Also, citizens are authorized to file an objection to the processing of their personal data at any time. The complaint is submitted to the Personal Data Protection Agency as the competent supervisory authority for the protection of personal data.

Purpose, method of processing and storage of personal data
All personal data are used exclusively for the purposes for which they were collected and for which consent and/or consent was given. The collected data will not be made available to third parties in any way, except for the purpose prescribed by law or if express consent and/or consent has not been given. By making a query according to the TZ of the City of Kastva, you give your consent for us to respond to you through the same communication channel that you used for your query and to store your personal data that you have given us for a period of no more than 5 years or for the period required to respond to your query in full.
