In the tower behind the church of St. Jelena Križarica and the bell tower are located by the Speleogalerija – a unique gallery/museum space on the topic of speleology in Croatia, opened in 2005 with the help of AED (Academy for Educational Development) funds.
The exhibition displays illustrate the work of the Kastava Speleological Association Estavela, the geological peculiarities of the karst relief of the Kastav region and interesting facts about the flora and fauna of this area. The cave gallery also acts as an educational center for the founders, members of the Estavela Speleological Association from Kastav.
