If you are traveling by car, there are several ways to get to Kastav. If you arrive from neighboring Slovenia, via the border crossing Rupa or Pasjak, before the western entrance to Rijeka, the road signs will direct you to Kastav.
If you are coming via the Rijeka bypass, choose the exit Rijeka – west (Kastav).
If you are coming from the direction of Opatija, follow the signs from Matulje to Kastav.
If you arrive in Croatia by bus or train, choose Rijeka as your destination, from where it is easy to get to Kastvo by bus or taxi.
If you choose to arrive in Croatia by plane, the airports Rijeka (on the island of Krk), Zagreb, Pula, Trieste are at your disposal. All the mentioned airports are well connected with Rijeka, i.e. Kastav.
Kastava is easily reached by public suburban buses from Rijeka (line 18, 18b) and Opatija (line 37).
